"My first consultation... Hugo is very welcoming, always smiling, and explains the likely cause of the pain and the techniques he uses very clearly. My pain was gone the same evening. For a first visit, I can only recommend him. Thank you so much!"
Why see an osteopath?
Pain is not something you have to live with. Osteopathy helps identify the source of your tension and treats the body as a whole.
Understand your pain
Rather than simply masking your symptoms, we look together for the real source of your pain. Every body has its own history, and my aim is to give you deep, lasting relief by treating the cause.
Ease your pain
Whether it is sudden acute pain or chronic discomfort you have lived with for months, osteopathy offers gentle ways to reduce physical tension and restore your day-to-day comfort.
Move freely again
Postural imbalances caused by modern life can restrict your movement. My role is to restore mobility in your joints and correct your posture so you can move smoothly and without apprehension.
Maintain your balance
You do not need to wait until it hurts. Regular preventive sessions help your body cope with daily stress, improve muscle recovery and prevent future problems.

Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions most patients have before their first session.
Do I need a referral to see an osteopath?
No. Osteopathy is a direct-access profession in France: you can book without going through your GP and without a referral.
Is the consultation reimbursed?
Osteopathy sessions are not covered by the French state health system. However, the vast majority of private health insurers reimburse all or part of the cost, usually as an annual allowance.
You receive an invoice at the end of the consultation: simply send it to your insurer.
How long does a session last?
Around one hour. That covers the discussion about why you came, the osteopathic assessment, the manual treatment and personalised advice.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends entirely on your condition and your history. Many acute problems resolve in one to three sessions. Hugo gives you an estimate after the assessment, during the first consultation.
How should I prepare for the first consultation?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring any recent imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT scan) and a list of any medication you are taking.
Can I come during pregnancy or with a baby?
Yes. Hugo treats pregnant women at every stage of pregnancy as well as post-partum, and cares for babies from their first weeks using gentle, appropriate techniques.
